I subscribe only to a couple of knitting magazines: Rowan and Interweave Knits. I love the luxurious photography and the beautiful fashions in Rowan. They never fail to impress and I know I am always excited when a new issue is available. I consider my subscription a treat... Interweave, on the other hand, has always been my favorite knitting magazine. I think IK tends to have interesting and well-written articles on techniques and about designers.
I usually pick up other magazines off the stands, but only if at least one or two of the patterns interest me. Vogue Knitting usually has cute and trendy patterns, but nothing that I really consider my style (at least, not lately). Rebecca, has fun and pretty fashions, but the magazine is more expensive. I don't usually pick up a copy unless I know I will definitely knit something from it.
Well, this week, my copies of Rowan 41 and IK Spring 2007 filtered in with the mail. I picked up Rebecca 33 at Imagiknit (it only takes one pattern, no matter how small haha). I've only had the chance to skim through, but, I've picked my upcoming projects ;D
I'm glad it's Friday. Aren't you?
