Have you heard about knitML?!

Adam just sent me this boingboing article about knitML. Since I just started writing patterns this year, I'm interested in learning more about it as I plan patterns for more complicated designs. And, really, I hope it integrates nicely with my kniTeX. ;D

Yes, actually, I have heard about KnitML. :)

I should be straightforward to render kniTeX rather than, say, a text-based pattern from KnitML. Simply applying either an XSL tranformation or a more programmatic one (like the Pattern Renderer we are working on in Java) should produce whatever the desired output. In the case of Java, instead of a BasicTextRenderer, one could substitute in a KniTeXRenderer implementation.
